Dr. Indu Shahani

Dr. Indu Shahani, Chair Academic Council, ISDI and Ex-Principal of H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, has been the driving force behind delivering new age experiential education in Mumbai.

With over four decades of teaching experience, Dr. Indu Shahani has been acknowledged worldwide as a leader with a vision for her significant contribution to education and value-based leadership. She was appointed Sheriff of Mumbai in 2008 and 2009.

Siddharth Shahani
Founder & Executive Director : ISDI

Mr. Siddharth Shahani is the Executive Director of the Indian School of Design and Innovation, ISDI. He is a Founding Partner at Think Education, an entrepreneurial venture based in India which endeavours to increase access to private and affordable international education to Millions of Indians.

He has trained as a pharmacist from the London School of Pharmacy, following which he pursued a Masters in International Health Policy and Economics from the London School of Economics. He spent five years focusing on Healthcare and Education at McKinsey & Co., a management consultancy.

Ms. Radha Kapoor, Founder and Executive Director of the Indian School of Design and Innovation, ISDI, is a young and dynamic entrepreneur with diverse interests driven by her creative passions.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a major in Communication Design, Radha has had a crucial role launching a number of endeavors like DO IT CREATIONS and BRAND CANVAS. Other than her schools, Radha has co-founded Awfis, a co-working space firm which she describes as “Uber for commercial real estate” to help those aspiring to run their own business.

Sir Martin Sorrell is the entrepreneurial founder and CEO of WPP, the world’s largest marketing communications group. He is one of the most respected global industry leaders whose views on business and the world economy are widely sought.
In 1985 Martin Sorrell took a controlling stake in Wire & Plastic Products, a small UK manufacturer of shopping baskets and teapots. Sir Martin Sorrell joined WPP in 1986 as a director, becoming Group chief executive in the same year. Today WPP is the world leader in advertising and marketing services, and proud parent to many of the industry’s biggest and most admired agencies.

Ranjan Kapur is currently Country Manager – India of WPP, the world’s largest communications group and the holding company that owns JWT, Ogilvy, Grey, GroupM and Genesis Burson-Marsteller among others.

He is a veteran of the advertising business having spent 38 years with Ogilvy and 12 years with WPP.

He was honored with the Industry’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 by AAAI. Mr. Kapur started in the ‘Mad Men’ era of 1960s and his 50 years in advertising industry is reflected throughout the dawn of digital revolution. After retiring in 2003, he is now active mentoring young entrepreneurs, investing in companies, and painting.

Has over 20 years of experience in the marketing field. He spent over a decade at GroupM (2003 – 2016) where he built the Activation, Shopper Marketing and New Media Practice. As his last assignment he was leading Strategic Alliances and Projects – working closely with Google, Facebook, and other partners on building IP’s and new opportunities. He is also the winner of a Cannes bronze and worked closely with building the Coca-Cola brand.

He decided to join as full-time faculty last year and is the Program Director along with being the teacher for Digital Activations and Marketing. Through his own case studies of campaigns, he ensures practical learning and helps in evolving student ideas further under his guidance and leadership.

Anuja Kimatrai
Associate Director ISDI WPP

Has over 12 years of experience in hands-on Advertising, Brand Management & Event Management between Ogilvy & Mather, Mumbai, Everest Brand Solutions (Y&R) & Showdiff Worldwide. She also has a long relationship with the Tata Group having helped launch the Tata Nano and executed the marketing plan for Tata Safari.
She is the ‘360 Degrees Advertising’ teacher and has recently become the Associate Director of ISDI WPP. A passionate teacher, she believes in learning by doing and her style of teaching reflects that. Through her many years of experience and exposure to the advertising world, she provides great insights to her students and makes them ready for the industry.
